"Dr Katia Bailetti is a wonderful resource for my patients. I have referred
a number of my young parents to Dr Bailetti in order for them to gain
insight on the confusing subject of childhood vaccination. She has given
them valuable objective information that has enabled them to make educated, informed and empowered choices for their children and families. The information she presents is extensively researched and non-biased. After a consult with Dr Bailetti some of my families have chosen to vaccinate, others have choson not to - the key is in all cases it is their own choice, based on the knowledge they have gained through their phone consultation with Dr Bailetti."
~ Dr. Julie Zepp Rutledge, Naturopathic Doctor in Regina, Saskatchewan
"It's about time that someone provided such a valuable and needed service. Dr. Bailetti has done a comprehensive survey of vaccinations, and presents the material in a balanced manner. This is informed consent at its' best, and I am thrilled to have a referral for my patients who are struggling with these difficult parenting decisions."
~ Dr. Jennifer Baer, Naturopathic Doctor and Clinic Director of Body of Knowledge Healing Arts in Toronto, Ontario

Collaboration with other health care professionals
Katia Bailetti frequently works in conjunction with pediatricians, medical doctors, midwives and other health care professionals in order to provide the best integrative medical care possible.
Some clients use natural medicine to compliment their conventional medicine (complimentary medicine), others use natural medicine as an alternative (alternative medicine). Clients are encouraged to maintain regular contact with their medical doctor, however, it is important to coordinate the efforts of your health care providers. Please read Katia's letter to medical doctors and bring a copy to your next doctor's visit.
Green Healthcare
Working closely with Dr. Willow and her inspiring EcoWellness community in Carp, Ontario solidified the importance of connecting personal wellness with planetary wellness for Katia. She continually strives to improve the impact of her clinical practice on the health of the earth by:

Prescribing natural treatments that maximize the health of her clients and minimize the negative impact on the environment.
-
Using washable sheets, pillow cases and gowns instead of disposable alternatives.
-
Using eco-friendly soaps to wash clinic equipment and supplies.
-
Choosing public transportation to get to and from clinic appointments.
-
Using electronic communications instead of paper, when possible.
-
Using only recycled paper.
-
Continually evaluating clinic processes to integrate new ecologically sound solutions.
-
Encouraging and inspiring clients to take care of themselves, their families and their environment.
Insurance coverage
Most extended health care plans now cover visits to licensed naturopathic doctors because employers and insurance companies are realizing that offering naturopathic benefits to their employees keeps people healthier and more productive. At the end of each visit, you will be provided with an invoice to submit to your health insurance provider.
Naturopathic visits are also tax deductible as medical expenses.
Laboratory testing
Conventional medical blood, urine and stool tests are available as well as additional naturopathic testing. Naturopathic tests are used to evaluate food and environmental allergies, toxicity level, digestive function, stress level, nutritional status, sleep quality, hormone balance, etc… The cost for these tests varies.
Herbs, Supplements and other Natural Health Products
Professional grade natural products are available. When possible, these products are organic, hypoallergenic, free of chemicals and common allergens and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The cost of these products varies.
